5 Stunning Design Features of the Muskoka Early Bird Cottage

Prepare to be amazed by the gorgeous Early Bird Cottage on beautiful Loon Lake in Muskoka! Breathtaking design features are everywhere throughout the nearly 2500 square feet of living space. Here are 5 features that we think are extra special.

1. Windows, Windows, Windows!

The Early Bird Cottage is perfectly situated; east-facing with a view across beautiful Loon Lake. We didn’t want this incredible view to go to waste, so every level has lots of windows to let in the light and showcase the scenery.

2. Party Prepping in the Pantry

Just off the main entrance you’ll find the walk-in pantry, something most homes don’t have, let alone cottages! You’ll appreciate the extra storage room and prep space when company drops in (and they will!!) - there’s even a sink in the pantry for a quick clean up. It’s just one of the many thoughtful and luxurious touches you’ll find throughout the cottage.

3. Lake Views from the “Island”

One of the most striking features of the main floor is the gorgeous island in the centre of the kitchen. We’re guessing the lake-view seating at the island will become a favourite spot for eating breakfast, or lingering over a cup of coffee. Mornings will be magical in Muskoka!

4. Stepping Out? We’ve Got You Covered!

You’ll be able to use the expansive covered porch rain or shine, and access is easy from either the sliding glass doors into the kitchen, or from the outside stairs. Best of all, the entire space is screened in, so you can enjoy the great outdoors without the bugs!

5. Room for the Family

The spacious lower-level Family Room is ideal for more casual moments, especially for kids and grandkids. It’s a private space, but you’re never far from the action -  just step through the sliding door to access the yard, the lake, and the hot tub!

The entire Early Bird Cottage is so well designed, you’ll want to be here as often as possible! Where do you imagine yourself spending your time?
